Dean Edgell a long time and widely respected member of the Live Roleplay Community passed away last week, in his home city in Ontario, after a lengthy illness.

Dean's writing credits included "The Prince's Diamond Jubilee," "Intrigue in the Clouds," and "Intrigue Beneath the Waves." "Intrigue in the Clouds" has often been cited as a significant genre leader for Victorian "Steampunk" LARP which would provide the theme for Intercon G (Gaslight) and the Brassy's Men campaign. In addition it has been cited as one of the better examples of the four-hour Intercon genre. Dean's own biographies for previous conventions are short, and always mention thanks to his friends for advice and support.
